Sydney Kings offer two spots to play in All Stars charity game

The Sydney Kings are offering two spots to play in their first All Stars charity game this Saturday ahead of their NBL clash against the Cairns Taipans on Saturday.

Kings fans can bid for one of two spots on the star-studded celebrity teams, who will go head-to-head under the leadership of club legends Shane Heal and Steve Carfino as coaches. 

The 15-minute celebrity match will be played on court from 4:45pm (AEDT) as the official curtain raiser, before the Kings take on the Taipans in NBL Round 15 action.

All money raised will be donated to the Starlight Children's Foundation. 

The initiative - led by ex-NRL star and avid Kings fan Jamie Soward - has secured several big names including Anthony Mundine, Timomatic and Adam Reynolds.

Participants must be over the age of 16 to play with bidding closing at midnight on Thursday January 9.
