Entry Restrictions: The Competition is open to Australian permanent residents only, aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter, the Prize Supplier and associated companies and their immediate families are ineligible.

Competition Period: Commences: 9am AEST on Saturday 4th July 2026. Closes: 9am AEST on Monday 10th August 2026.

Maximum Number of Entries: One per person, per day.

How to enter:

• During the Competition Period, entrants must go to http://www.sbs.com.au/sport/silversea and follow the directions to complete the online entry form.

• Entrants must register their details, including (but not limited to) name, address and phone number.

Major Prize:

One (1) Winner will receive:

• One (1) 10-day Silversea Cruise Holiday for Two (2) adults, to include the following:

• 10-night stay in a Classic Veranda Suite, departing from Fusina (Venice) on 13th November 2026 and disembarking in Civitavecchia (Rome) on 23rd November 2026

• All standard amenities, including butler service, onboard wi-fi, beverage package to include select wines, champagnes, spirits, soft drinks, water, tea and coffee

• Shipboard gratuities (excluding spa gratuities)

• One (1) return economy class flight for Two (2) adults from the winners nearest capital city to the airport closest to the cruise departure port.

• One (1) night pre-cruise accommodation for Two (2) at Prize Supplier's choice.

Winner Selection:

One (1) Winner will be selected from all valid entries.

The Winner will be drawn at random by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) on Monday 10th August 2026 at 2pm AEST at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street Surry Hills, NSW, 2010.

Notification of the Winner:

Major Prize Winner will be notified via e-mail and phone call from Ansible Pty Ltd on behalf of the Promoter by Wednesday 12th August 2026.

Major Prize Winners’ details (last name, first name initial and postcode) will be published on the SBS website and in The Australian on Friday 14th August 2026.

Second Chance Draw and notification:

If the Winner has not accepted their prize, and provided all relevant detail, including but not limited to departure airport, guest name, all contact and travel information, by 11am AEST on Monday 24th August 2026, the Promoter or its nominated agent will select another winner from all valid entries at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street Surry Hills, NSW, 2010 at 11am on Monday 24th August 2026. The Winner of the Second Chance Draw will be notified via email and phone from Ansible Pty Ltd on behalf of the Promoter by Wednesday 26th August 2026 and their details (last name, first name initial and postcode) will be published on the SBS website and in The Australian on Friday 28th August 2026.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Information relating to the Competition and the above Schedule form part of the terms and conditions for the Competition. The Promoter may vary these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion, subject to approval of the relevant state authorities.

2. Eligibility to enter the Competition is subject to the Entry Restrictions above.

3. To enter the Competition, entrants must complete the process outlined in the Entry Details during the Competition Period. Any entry received outside of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid.

4. Entrants may enter the Competition up to the Maximum Number of Entries. Each entry must be submitted separately and meet the eligibility requirements.

5. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

6. All valid entries are automatically entered into the Winner Selection process, which will take place at the times and dates set out in the Schedule, including any specified Second Chance Draw.

7. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. The Winner will be notified in accordance with the Winner Notification details in the Schedule. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity and proof of Australian residency status before the Major Prize is awarded to the Winner. Acceptance of proof of eligibility is at the discretion of the Promoter. For clarity, both the winner and their companion must be permanent residents of Australia.

9. The Major Prize is as described in the Schedule and is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs associated with use of the Major Prize.

10. The Major Prize is date specific. The Winner and their travelling companion must be available to travel on the dates specified in the schedule. If the Winner and their travelling companion cannot travel on these dates, they will forfeit the Prize.

11. The flights included in the Prize are return economy flights only. Flight availability and scheduling is subject to availability and the Promoter and the Prize Supplier cannot guarantee availability from the winners chosen airport. Silversea’s airfare program is subject to airline schedules and availability of negotiated fares. As a result, flight tickets booked through the programme may

have limited flexibility, including restrictions on changes, exchanges or endorsements. Silversea reserves the right to select the applicable airline, routing and any layovers and may substitute charter flights for schedules services (or vice versa) if required. Airfares are subject to change prior to booking. The flights included will arrive in the cruise destination One (1) day prior to the cruise departing. Return flights will depart the same day that the cruise ends. The Winner and their companion must be available to travel within this timeframe. Exact timings are subject to the Promoter’s discretion. Winner must provide all requested detail to the Promoter, the Prize Supplier or the Promoter’s representative by Monday 24th August 2026 at 11:00 AEST. Failure to do so will result in the prize being invalid and awarded to another winner.

12. The Prize Winner and their companion must travel together, on the same flights and the same cruise. The Prize Winner or their companion must not be under the age of 18.

13. Any cruise amenities not expressly mentioned in the Prize schedule as included in the cruise are excluded. This refers to upgrades or any services beyond those normally included in the Classic Veranda Suite. 14. By accepting the Prize, the Winner and their companion agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the selected airline and Silversea Cruises Australia. A full list of the guest terms and conditions for Silversea Cruises Australia can be found here: https://www.silversea.com/guest-terms.

15. A valid credit card may be requested by the Promoter or the Prize Supplier, to cover any incidentals required.

16. Tickets are non-transferable (i.e, no name changes allowed). Any alterations to confirmed accommodation or flight details will be at the expense of the winner, where permitted. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time and they cannot be split across different time periods.

17. It is each traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure they have valid travel documentation,including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any necessary visas, vaccinations, passports and any associated costs are the responsibility of the Winner and their travelling companion. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.

18. Travel insurance, airport transfers or pre and post accommodation are not included in the Prize.

19. The Promoter, the Prize Supplier and their associated agencies and companies or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the destination, including any safety conditions, travel restrictions, warnings, bans or other issues that may exist at any destination.

20. Winner and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to

any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

21. International cabotage laws may prohibit guests from embarking or disembarking their voyage in any port except the main scheduled embarkation and disembarkation ports. Only those guests with a medical emergency may be allowed to embark or disembark the vessel at an unscheduled embark / disembark port. If an unscheduled embarkation or disembarkation is permitted because of an emergency, those guests may incur additional charges intended to cover any fine or penalty levied against Silversea and any other additional costs. Such additional costs will be added to the guests’ onboard account prior to disembarking.

22. Itineraries are not guaranteed and onboard offerings are subject to change.

23. The Prize has no official resale value and may not be authentic if purchased from a third party. Prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes.

24. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating Prize provider(s), if for any reason a Winner does not, once the Prize has been booked, take the Prize (or an element of the Prize) at the time stipulated, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

25. The Winner and their companion may be required to sign a legal release form determined by the Promoter and the Prize Supplier in their absolute discretion.

26. The Winner and their companion must provide valid identification to the Promoter and/or Prize Supplier.

27. The Prize is subject to booking availability. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, The Prize Supplier, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to substantially equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 

28. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in the value of the Major Prize between now and the ultimate Major Prize redemption date.

29. It is a condition of accepting the Major Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Major Prize and the Prize Supplier’s requirements.

30. Rewards program points cannot be accrued when taking up the Major Prize.

31. The Winner is responsible for all costs not expressly listed as being included in the Major Prize.

32. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the Promoter’s opinion, includes objectionable content.

33. The Promoter takes no liability for any tax implications which may arise from accepting the Major Prize in this Competition. It is the responsibility of the Winner to consult an independent tax adviser if this is a concern.

34. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers,employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal or permanent injury or loss of life; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition. The Winner and their companion agrees that they take full responsibility for any activities engages in while using the Major Prize.

35. Neither the Promoter nor the Prize Supplier or their associated companies is responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for acts of god, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared), state of emergency or disaster, or other events beyond the Promoter and the Prize Supplier's control which prevent the Competition from running as planned or prevent awarding or acceptance of

the Major Prize in accordance with the Major Prize description. If such acts or events occur, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or suspend or modify a Major Prize, subject to agreement with the Prize Supplier and state regulations.

36. The Promoter and the Prize Supplier assume no responsibility for any error, omission,interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention,

fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administrative security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available to the fullest extent permitted by law, including to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. 37. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter.

38. Entrants consent to their full names and/or their entries being used in all media by the Promoter. Entrants acknowledge and agree they may be required to participate in promotional activities while taking up the Major Prize.

39. The Promoter may use entrants' names and details for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. The Promoter may also be required to disclose your personal information to its contractors, agents, co-promoter and to state and territory gaming departments to assist in conducting the Competition.

40. All details of the entrants (including personal information) will be collected, used, preserved and disclosed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and the SBS Privacy Policy. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the SBS Privacy Officer. Unless otherwise notified, the Promoter may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes.

41. It is a condition of entry that participants must consent to receiving marketing communications from Silversea. With your express consent to do so, by checking the tick-box to receive marketing communications from the Prize Supplier, Ansible Pty Ltd (The Promoters Agent) will first collect, process and securely handle entrants’ personal information (e.g first name, last name, post code, phone number, email address) for the purposes of administering the

competition. This data will be used for no other purpose. Where the entrant has opted in to receiving marketing communications from the Prize Supplier, Ansible will then securely disclose relevant personal information to the Prize Supplier who may contact the entrant with communications in relation to Silversea Cruises. The Prize Supplier will thereafter handle entrant personal information in accordance with its privacy policy, which can be accessed at https://www.silversea.com/privacy-policy.html. The Prize Suppliers Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, and it is the entrant’s responsibility to keep up to date with any changes. Entrants may opt out of marketing communication at any time.

42. Any entrant found to be using multiple emails and/or phone numbers to enter the Competition may be disqualified at SBS’s sole discretion.

43. Entrants acknowledge this Competition is in no way associated with or sponsored or endorsed by Facebook, Instagram or X (Twitter). Any information disclosed by entrants entering this Competition is not provided to Facebook, Instagram or X (Twitter). Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Competition must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Instagram or X (Twitter).
