The moment Bournemouth's boss goes crazy … with delight

"We are going up! Oh my God, I love these f***ing boys!"

With those 12 words, Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn has become an Internet sensation after his team effectively secured automatic promotion to the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday (AEST).

WARNING: This clip contains the "colourful" language befitting of a promotion celebration

Mostyn, clad in a dapper three-piece suit, lights up the Cherries' dressing room with an exuberant display worthy of a team that has made it to the big show. The only problem is Bournemouth isn't quite there, yet.

As Charlton Athletic cheekily pointed out, if it can put 19 goals past Mostyn's team on Sunday (AEST), it will consign the Cherries to the nail-biting lottery of a promotion play-off.

While a 19-0 victory is highly unlikely, given Charlton's biggest win over the Cherries was 6-2 in a 1929 Division Three match, when they were known as Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic - the scenario seemed not lost on the Cherries players as they watched their club's owner going nuts, with a look of tempered enthusiasm bordering on bemusement.

One thing is guaranteed: if Bournemouth does, as expected, get the job done against the Addicks, Premier League fans can expect an entertaining brand of attacking football, complemented by an outrageously enthusiastic cheif executive.
