THE NEXT STAGE FOR YOUR OLD BIKE CAN CHANGE LIVES Source: Colonial First State

Bikes 4 Life is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to collect, restore and provide bicycles to the most marginalised and impoverished communities in Australia and around the world.

With the simple gift of a bicycle, many communities and families can enhance their standard of living dramatically by gaining easier access to food and water, medical assistance, employment and schools.

With projects planned to assist communities in the Congo, Kenya, Pakistan and Cambodia later this year, this not-for-profit organisation relies on the ongoing support of volunteers, along with the help of corporate sponsors, such as VISA Global Logistics, 99 Bikes and Colonial First State.  Individual and corporate donations go towards buying bikes, tools, accessories and can sometimes cover the cost of bike shipments.
