Valencia mourn fan who suffered heart attack during Barcelona match

A Valencia fan in attendance at the Mestalla against Barcelona died of a heart attack on Saturday evening, the club announced in a statement.

Valencia, who drew 1-1 thanks to Santi Mina's 86th-minute equaliser, passed on their condolences to the family of the supporter who was taken to hospital but died later.

"Valencia CF lament the irreparable loss of a fan after the match in Mestalla," read a statement on Valencia's official website. "The club is at the disposal of the family and shares the pain of all their loved ones."
