Kamsoba made his Victory debut in January after he was plucked from obscurity playing with Avondale in the NPL Victoria competition.
Less than six months on he could be starring for his country of birth in Burundi's first appearance in the African Cup.
Aspirations of a Socceroos call-up led Kamsoba to turn-down the chance to play for Burundi in March, but a change of heart means he will be there in Egypt when the competition gets underway later this month.
Burundi will take on three time winner Nigeria, Guinea and fellow AFCON first timers Madagascar in their group.
The tournament kicks-off on June 21 with the final set to take place on July 19.
