Victory scored the first goal of the W-League season in just the ninth minute of action through Laura Spiranovic, at Broadmeadows Valley Park.
Spiranovic, who is the sister of Australia defender Matthew Spiranovic, was quick to latch onto Glory goalkeeper, Mackenzie Arnold's parried save.
But Glory settled into the contest and despite Samantha Kerr missing a penalty, the Perth side drew level only minutes later, right on the stroke of half-time to make it 1-1, via a nice finish from Caitlin Foord.
In the 69th minute, Glory hit the front 2-1 through Kerr, who made up for her earlier penalty miss, on the back of some great lead-up work from Foord.
Meanwhile in Adelaide, Western Sydney jumped to a 2-0 lead inside the opening 17 minutes thanks to goals to Keelin Winters and captain Caitlin Cooper.
For Cooper it capped off a brilliant week, after being recalled to the Matildas squad on Tuesday after a two year absence.
But Adelaide refused to give in and Sarah Killion bagged a brace either side of half-time, in the 40th and 62nd minutes, to level to scores at 2-2 and earn her side a point.
