Montevideo native Pinatares spent last season at Cerro, helping them to third place in the Uruguayan top flight. He has previously played for Boston River, Rentistas and Brazil's Portuguesa.

Pinatares will replace the departed Andreuin as the Wanderers holding midfielder and adds to Tony Popovic's options in the centre of the park that include Kearyn Baccus, Mitch Nichols, Dimas and recent signing Steven Lustica.

"We look forward to welcoming Bruno to Western Sydney when he arrives for pre-season training in the coming weeks,” Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said.

“Bruno’s style of play will fit well into the Wanderers playing structure and is something we’re pleased to see at our club.

Pepper joined the Wanderers before the start of the 2015-2016 season and played 14 matches in all competitions for the club.

Tsatsimas thanked Pepper for his contribution.

"Jacob was a popular figure around the club and leaves with our best wishes," Tsatsimas said.

The 24 year-old ex-Newcastle Jets player will now be on the lookout for a new club.
