The Wanderers came from behind twice against a strong Canberra outfit with a Kylie Ledbrook header in the dying stages enought to secure a draw.

The visitors opened the scoring in controversial style with Ellie Carpenter firing into the back of the net despite Western Sydney goalkeeper calling for a stoppage after going down injured.

Despite the contentious goal, Western Sydney wouldn't give in and evened the ledger thanks to a composed finish from Leena Khamis who was playing in her 100th A-League game.

A defensive blunder from Servet Unzlar gave Canberra the lead with 10 minutes left on the clock but Ledbrook would have the final say as she nodded home after an incredible passing buildup.

The result couldn't move Western Sydney off the bottom of the ladder, while Canberra move into fourth position with eight points.
