WATCH: NBA2K Sundays with Courtois

With the 2019-20 football and NBA seasons currently suspended due to the coronavirus, an exciting Esports offering is set to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will host a weekly series of NBA2K games against fellow footballers, plus European sporting personalities, celebrities and influences.

The match ups will be available on The World Game website / app, as well via SBS On Demand and SBS Sport sites from Monday April 6.

This is in addition to the SBS Sport / SBS On Demand offering of the NBA 2K Players Tournament, which got underway on Sunday April 5.

In Courtois' first head-to-head clash, the shot-stopper - playing as Milwaukee Bucks - faces Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels - playing as the Dallas Mavericks.

Next up, Courtois meets faces Belgium teammate and Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku - playing as Boston Celtics.
