Watch Rohan Dennis's Hour Record attempt LIVE on SBS

Tour Down Under champion Rohan Dennis will attempt to break the UCI Hour Record in February with the action shown live on SBS.

The BMC rider's attempt will take place on Sunday 8 February at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen, Switzerland.

SBS will broadcast the Hour Record challenge live on SBS2 from 2350 AEDT and online here at Cycling Central.

The current record stands at 51.852km set by Austrian Matthias Brandle in October last year.

That distance may well increase before Dennis takes to the boards with fellow Australian Jack Bobridge tackling the record in Melbourne on 31 January.
