Welcome to the new Cycling Central

Welcome to the new Cycling Central. It’s been a while since we gave the place a good spit and polish, and we thought a full service, degrease and retune was somewhat overdue. As always, we’re delighted to have you on board.

We’ve taken Cycling Central across to the SBS global network platform, reuniting it with our family of great SBS websites on a single template which is cleaner, easier to use, and responsive to all screen sizes. It helps us better present the content we know you love, anywhere you want it.

No matter where you are, or what device you might have in your hand, Cycling Central will resize to fit your screen perfectly in a dynamic, image-rich design that showcases the sport we all love in the most breathtaking way.

The way the world is consuming content is changing, and with such a large proportion of our traffic coming via mobile search and social media, we recognised we had to provide for that trend. Our new homepage is a timeline of stories and content we feel is important for you to know and we’ll be looking for the very best of the best, presented in an easily scrollable format so you can view it in a way you've become used to, particularly on mobile, where you can simply swipe down your screen.

Our comprehensive coverage of events like the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana. Classics and other big events won’t change at all, of course, and we’ll continue to live stream everything we put to air on SBS, so the experience and volume of content will be as great as it has ever been, if not better. We'll also be seeking out the stories inside the races, and giving you the best destination to discover everything that's happening in cycling, in all genres. You'll want to share our content, and that's become much easier, too.

Whether it’s video, images, audio or text, and whether it comes from our own expert team, other figures in the cycling world, Vine, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twiter, teams, riders or any other sources, you’ll find it first at Cycling Central, and we trust you'll enjoy the ride we’re going to take you on.

As always, we want to hear from you too, so drop your comments to us either here, or via Cycling Central on Facebook and Twitter, and we’ll take everything on board. After all, we’re not only doing this for the love of the sport, we’re doing this for you.
