'We're not Fiorentina!' - Allegri rages at Juve star Bernadeschi

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was caught on camera delivering an expletive-ridden rant to his bench about young star Federico Bernadeschi during his side's 3-0 win over Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League.

Despite Juve maintaining control of the match from start to finish, Allegri was incensed by Bernadeschi's decision-making in more than one passage of play.

The 24-year-old held on to the ball instead of passing to teammates making runs - options his manager clearly would have preferred.

A furious Allegri was filmed yelling at his bench: "It's a pass! You have to go (sic) to score goals!"

"He's coming off now. We're not Fiorentina!"

The Italian international came up through Fiorentina's youth system and was purchased by Juve in July 2017 for €40 million ($65m).

Allegri has mentioned several times the need for him to be more consistent.

Bernadeschi admitted his coach had been frustrated with him, but insisted they have a "wonderful" relationship.

“He bent my ear a bit yesterday because I didn’t pass two balls in the second half … but I feel very comfortable with him.

“When he gets angry he makes himself heard and understood, even if the foreigners struggle with Tuscan a little bit!"
