The consensus

A place in the last 16 is up for grabs for all four teams in Group C.

Poland simply need need a win or draw from their final match against Argentina. They can only qualify with a loss if Saudi Arabia also lose and Mexico do not overtake the Robert Lewandowski-led side on goal difference.

A win will send Argentina through to the last 16. They will also top the group unless Saudi Arabia defeat Mexico and overtake Argentina on goal difference. Lionel Messi and his side can only qualify from a draw if Saudi Arabia and Mexico also draw or if Mexico win by less than three goals, while a loss will see them exit the tournament.

Saudi Arabia will also be guaranteed qualification if they defeat Mexico, and can also make the last 16 with a draw if Argentina either lose or win by four goals or more. A loss will end their run at the tournament.

Mexico can only qualify if both they and Poland win, as it will come down to goal difference if there is another result in the other group match. Mexico will have to win big in the event of a Poland-Argentina draw or an Argentina win.
