The tournament gets underway with the opening ceremony from 2:00am (AEDT) at Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor, welcoming all of the 32 nations and their fans to Qatar which will include performances from pop stars Shakira and BTS' member Jungkook.
Then it's time for the first match as tradition continues with hosts Qatar taking on group A opponents Ecuador from 3:00am (AEDT).
