Match 38
Tunisia v France
Tunisia are winless from two games but can still technically make the knockout round with a big win. It won't be easy as France have so far dominated the group - Tunisia will need to take their chances and hope that France rest some of their star players.
France are through to the Round of 16 and will likely top the group, so may decide to rest some key players before the knockout games. This France squad also has strength in depth, so whatever team they field will likely still cause Tunisia significant problems.
Match 37
Australia v Denmark
After a determined win against Tunisia, Australia find themselves in a position where a draw will see them through granted Tunisia do not beat France. The Socceroos' defence was porous against a rampant France and gave up more opportunities than was comfortable against Tunisia, so they will likely need to be compact and try to catch Denmark on the break.
Denmark were the dark horses for a lot of people this tournament but have so far been unable to take their chances in front of goal. They boast a great defence and midfield but can be goal-shy, which they will need to overcome if they want to progress to the final 16 - an achievement that is only possible through a win.
Match 39
Poland v Argentina
Accused of playing anti-football, Poland have earned the reputation of this World Cup's Atletico Madrid. They won't mind as they currently sit at the top of Group C, and will progress if they manage at least a draw. Lewandowski will be hungry for more goals after nabbing his first against Saudi Arabia, but don't expect Poland to stream forward in attack against a dangerous Argentina side.
After a disastrous start against Saudi Arabia, Argentina seem to be finding their feet with a hard-fought win over Mexico. They sit second in the group but will have their eyes on progressing in first, which means beating Poland. A draw doesn't guarantee them entry into the Round of 16, so expect the South Americans to push forward and go for broke.
Match 40
Saudi Arabia v Mexico
Saudi Arabia have been a surprise package this tournament, and will be disappointed after falling to Poland last time out. Written-off by many before a ball was even kicked, they now stand a very good chance of progressing if they can get a result against Mexico.
Mexico need to win, it's as simple as that. They have not scored so far in the group and that will need to change immediately - their defence, however, has been mostly sound. Questions have been asked of head coach Gerardo Martino about team selection so keep an eye out for a different Mexican set-up against the Saudis.
