Match 13
Switzerland v Cameroon
This game marks Switzerland and Cameroon's first-ever meeting on the World Cup stage.
Switzerland go into this one the favourites to win, having enjoyed an exceptional qualification campaign where they went undefeated in eight games. Switzerland went unbeaten in the group stages of the 2018 World Cup - they'll be looking to replicate that success in this year's tournament.
Cameroon have been knocked out of the group stages in their last five World Cup appearances, a trend they'll be looking to buck in 2022.
Match 14
Uruguay v Korea Republic
This match marks the first in one of the most difficult groups - Group H. It's the third World Cup match between Uruguay and Korea Republic, with Uruguay having come away victorious in both previous encounters.
Uruguay have the edge going into the match-up, boasting an exceptionally talented squad of players. The South American side have been in great form since Diego Alonso took over from Oscar Tabarez at the end of last year. Alonso will look to exploit his side's wide array of attacking options in Luis Suarez, Darwin Nunez, Edinson Cavani and Maxi Gomez.
In the worst possible turn of events for the Korea Republic side, attacking star Son Heung-min required surgery on a fractured eye socket on the eve of the tournament. Pressure is on their solid defence to escape Group H.
Match 15
Portugal v Ghana
Portugal will be looking to start their World Cup campaign with a bang. This marks the first meeting between the two nations since 2014, where Portugal claimed a 2-1 victory.
Portugal are the stand-out favourites to win this one against Ghana. The squad is armed with a balance of experience and youth, and are expected to beat their opponents with relative ease.
It's fair to say all eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo following his stunning exit from Manchester United this week.
Match 16
Brazil v Serbia
As a tournament favourite, Brazil will be determined to make their mark with an opening win against Serbia.
Flanked by the likes of Neymar, Casemiro, Thiago Silva, Alisson, and Fred, the Brazilian side are looking strong heading into their first match-up of the tournament.
The stubborn Serbian side are not to be underestimated, however, having finished top of their qualifying group ahead of Portugal and boasting some strong performances in the UEFA Nations League this year.
