Match 25
Japan v Costa Rica
Japan will be looking to secure progression to the round of 16 after their monumental win against Germany. The Samurai Blue dug deep for an impressive second half against the European side in their opening group match, and one should keep an eye out for responsive tactical changes from their astute manager Hajime Moriyasu against their next opponent.
Costa Rica will get a shot of redemption after enduring the biggest loss of the tournament so far at the hands of Spain - key man Keylor Navas will need to rally his team if they want to get anything out of Group E.
Match 26
Belgium v Morocco
While securing an important win against Canada, Belgium will have done some soul-searching after failing to impress. All eyes will be on their defensive frailty as they surely can't rely on Courtois saving a penalty in every match!
Morocco have some great talent in their squad but ultimately failed to mount a significant threat against Croatia - can they take advantage of an ageing Belgium backline?
Match 27
Croatia v Canada
The lead-up for this clash has been nothing short of spicy - Canada's coach John Herdman had some strong words about what Croatia can expect. Canada will look to explode but if they can't take their chances (and they had many against Belgium), then progression will be difficult.
Croatia have a squad full of talent, but the desire that drove them in the 2018 FIFA World Cup hasn't been reignited just yet. They will need a boost in their mentality and perhaps some Modric magic if they want to grab a result.
Match 28
Spain V Germany
The big one. Germany have their backs to the wall in what can only be considered a must-win after falling to a second-half Japan masterclass.
It won't be easy for Die Mannschaft as Spain look to be in red-hot form, fresh from a 7-0 demolition job of Costa Rica. Germany's Hansi Flick has been questioned heavily so he'll need to get it right if Germany have any hope.
