Match 29

Cameroon v Serbia

Cameroon will be disappointed with their opening match loss to Switzerland after looking lively and arguably more convincing in attack. They will need to take their chances against Serbia if they hope to get anything from the group as Brazil awaits them in their final group match.

Serbia will also consider this a must-win after being outplayed by Brazil last round. They took a physically aggressive approach in their last match and have three players on yellow cards who will need to be careful if they want to be available to face Switzerland in their final group match.

Match 30

Korea Republic v Ghana

South Korea performed well against Uruguay and should be confident that they can get the job done against an occasionally porous Ghana defence. Look for Son to run at the backline on the counter and cause issues for the African side tonight.

Ghana came so close to equalising against Portugal and would have been bitterly disappointed not to come away with a result. They will need something from this game to stay alive in the tournament - this one could be end-to-end football!

Match 31

Brazil v Switzerland

Brazil will be without Neymar, so all eyes will be on how they perform without their star man. It has not been confirmed how long the Paris Saint-Germain star will be out with injury, and Brazil have historically not performed well in his absence - mental toughness and determination will be key. Richarlison is in red-hot form after netting a stunning brace against Serbia and will be one to watch.

After a win against Cameroon, Switzerland can breathe more easily knowing they do not necessarily need a result against Brazil. However, they will still need to be careful not to get caught on the break in this one, as the likes of Vinicius Junior for Brazil could make them pay.

Match 32

Portugal v Uruguay

Portugal narrowly escaped with three points from their opening match against Ghana but will be buoyed by their attacking threat against Uruguay - Leao, Felix, and star man Ronaldo all look to be in fine form. They will need to focus defensively as they conceded both goals against Ghana to headers - something that Uruguay's Nunez and Cavani often excel at.

Uruguay did not take their chances against South Korea and a loss here would put them at risk of exiting the tournament. Nunez will be hungry to grab his first goal of the World Cup and Valverde could well be the facilitator - he also has a rocket of a long-range shot in his arsenal.
