Maximiliano Gómez hit the post with a powerful shot, will it be Uruguay's best chance?!?
GOAL!
Did Ronaldo get a hair on it?!?

Fair to say he had a lot to do with the goal and it doesn't change the end effect, 1-0 to Portugal!

And we're back in action at Lusail Stadium!
Halftime - Portugal 0 - 0 Uruguay
A tense, combative first half, war of attrition, grinding battle, all phrases you use when there are no goals and only limited chances.

Stay tuned during halftime for analysis from Craig Foster, Mark Bosnich and Niav Owens!
Uruguay's unlikely chance!
Rodrigo Bentancur bore down on goal after somehow getting through the Portuguese defence, only for Diogo Costa to block the shot.
