Tiff Cromwell has become the last of the original 2012 Orica GreenEdge generation to announce her retirement, following Luke Durbridge and Amanda Spratt.
Tiff Cromwell has announced her retirement, the last of the original 2012 Orica GreenEdge riders to call it.
This iconic team gave Aussie riders a real pathway: Australia's first WorldTour outfit, with a women's team alongside it. Durbridge built his longevity the hard way over 14 years, while Cromwell and Spratt did the same on the women's side, coming up when support for women's racing in Europe was scarce.
Three retirements, one symbolic moment — the foundation they built will shape the next generation of Aussie riders.
