Daniel Sanders and Toby Price both expected a challenging eighth stage of the Dakar Rally; instead, they were disadvantaged by the unexpected fast pace. Both lost time to their opposition and for Sanders, he's lost the lead in the bikes category. Whilst for David brock, his fortunes have had a massive turnaround, reinstated into the rally after an anomoly in a penalty issued by race officials was overturned.
