Having led into the fifth stage with a lead of more than 13 minutes, Australian Daniel Sanders took a significant hit, after being penalised for breaking the speed limit. Despite this, he retains a seven minute lead at the end fo the opening week. Toby Hederics again shone in the Rally 2 class, finishing again in the top ten and Malle Moto competitor Andrew Houlihan described the Enduro stages as the hardest that he's ever written. And with nothing left to lose, Toby Price is continuing to plough on in the cars category, despite the Stage 4 dramas that took him out of outright contention.
