The world got a glimpse of royal baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor at his first public appearance during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's official Royal Tour of South Africa.
The royals posted a series of photographs and videos to their official Instagram account of their meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Baby Archie was introduced to the Archbishop and his daughter Thandeka during the meeting.
In another image, the Duchess of Sussex can be seen holding Archie as the Archbishop greets him with a kiss on the forehead.
In a video of the meeting, baby Archie gurgles happily before the Archbishop is seen high-fiving him and laughing with the Duke and Duchess.
During the meeting the Archbishop's daughter, Thandeka presented the royals with gifts for Archie. The gifts included a book of children's bible stories written by the Archbishop and a children's songbook.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently on a tour of Southern Africa, 'focusing on community, grassroots leadership, women's girls' rights, mental health, HIV/AIDS and the environment.'
They met with Archbishop Tutu to learn about the work of The Desmond and Leah Tutu legacy Foundation.
The foundation, named after Tutu and his wife, works to develop and educate young leaders to Tutu's work including his anti-apartheid activism which includes campaigning against late South African leader Nelson Mandela's incarceration and his work leading truth and reconciliation movement in Mandela's government.
