Move over Victoria's Secret.

The fashion world is raving about Rihanna's latest Fenty X Savage show at New York Fashion Week, which took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and is said to have celebrated women of different shapes, sizes and skin tones.

With no runway in sight, the event was reportedly a boundary-pushing, immersive experience of fashion, dance and performance, with live music sets from the likes of Halsey, DJ Khaled and A$AP Ferg.

According to The Guardian, models included Alek Wek, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Laverne Cox and the Hadid sisters.

"We want to make people look good and feel good," Rihanna said in a press release ahead of the event. "We want you to feel sexy and have fun doing it."

For the most part, however, the much-hyped fashion show remains under a shroud of secrecy, with guests not allowed to take photos for the duration of the event. This is because Amazon Prime has obtained exclusive rights - set to stream the show in whole next week, on September 20.

Celebrity spectators took to social media to praise the show, with country superstar Kacey Musgraves tweeting: "The SAVAGE x FENTY show tonight - a splendid celebration of human form, sexuality, and all women."

She added: "It made me feel more confident about my own body and the journey of the female spirit."

Rihanna also got fans excited with a comment made prior to the fashion show, sparking hopes the singer and designer will collaborate with performer-of-the-moment Lizzo.

“Gosh I love Lizzo. She’s so badass,” Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight.

“I would collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now, like Lizzo is so badass.”

This year's show marks the second time Savage X Fenty has commanded the spotlight at NYFW, debuting last year with a diverse lineup of models and focus on representation.
