One of the greatest weeks at school was always Book Week. It's fun, colourful, and most importantly, it highlights and celebrates the importance of reading - at ALL ages.
The week, organised by The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA), encourages school children (as well as parents and teachers) all over the country to dress up as a character from one of their favourite books.
Book Week was held this week in schools around Australia - and the costumes this year were enormously impressive.
Here's some of the most wonderful real-life adaptions, brought to you by Aussie kids (with, perhaps, just a touch of parental assistance) from all over the country.
