A Russian man is reportedly suing technology giant Apple for 'turning him gay'.

The man, D. Razumilov, claims that back in 2017 he received a push-notification from a cryptocurrency app that he downloaded which read "don’t judge without trying," and was accompanied by GayCoins, a cryptocurrancy worth less than $0.02, according to Gizmodo.

This digital exchange allegedly pushed Razumilov into the throes of homosexuality, something he's no longer happy about.

"I thought, indeed, how can I judge something without trying it? And decided to try same-sex relationships," the complaint reads.

As you might have guessed, he's now in a relationship with a man.
I have a steady boyfriend and I don’t know how to explain it to my parents.
"I can say after the passage of two months that I’m mired in intimacy with a member of my own sex and can’t get out," he continues in the complaint.

"I have a steady boyfriend and I don’t know how to explain it to my parents. After receiving the aforementioned message, my life has changed for the worse and will never be normal again.”

Razumilov is accusing Apple of "pushing" him into his newfound relationship and causing "moral suffering and harm to mental health".

According to The Moscow Times, the man is seeking 1 million ruble (AUD$22,784) in damages and will be meeting with Moscow’s Presnensky District Court on October 17.
