In big news for fans of the DC Universe, Aquaman has been revealed as Queer in a new episode of Cartoon Network animated series Young Justice: Outsiders.

In an episode of the series titled 'Quiet Conversations', Kaldur’Ahm AKA Aqualad AKA Aquaman shares a lovely kiss with Wynnde, an Atlantean metahuman, while the pair hold hands.

It's not a complete out-of-the-blue development, however, with Kaldur telling his father, Black Manta, he’s gay in a past comic, which the show is based on. In the comic, his dad responds with: “You say that as though you’re asking me a question. You think I care? We’re all just meat.”
While fans of the series were quick to celebrate the development on social media, Aquaman isn't putting a label on his sexuality just yet.

“To date, Kaldur has only been truly in love twice: with Tula and with Wyynde," Greg Weisman, writer and producer of Young Justice said, according to gamer4k.com.

"He has dated other people, including Rocket. But he has only been in love twice”, Weisman added.

“So he hasn't defined his sexuality beyond those two people.”
