Actor Brian Austin Green says its “awesome” that his four-year-old son wears dresses and wigs, in a recent interview with Hollywood Pipeline.

Green has three children with actress Megan Fox and their son Noah was recently photographed wearing a dress from Disney film Frozen. The photo—uploaded to Fox’s Instagram attracted a number of negative comments with critics bemoaning the “destruction of traditional gender roles”.

"I've heard from some people that they don't agree,” Green says to host Dax Holt.

“They don't agree with him wearing dresses," he continued. "To them I say, 'I don't care.' He's four and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it."

"It's dresses or goggles or slippers— whatever. It's his life," he said.

"They're not my clothes. Obviously, I don't wear the nicest stuff. I'm wearing shorts and a T-shirt and a watch, you got me."

"I feel like at four, at five, that's the time when he should be having fun. He's not harming anyone wearing a dress," Green continued. "So, if he wants to wear a dress, awesome. Good on him."
