Cardi B's ex gate-crashed her concert, and Twitter has a lot of feelings about it

"Please stop bullying Cardi B to take Offset back," one commentator tweeted.

Rapper Offset caused a stir on social media over the weekend when he crashed his separated wife Cardi B’s performance at a Los Angeles music festival, begging the hit-maker to take him back.

While some argued that move was intended as a “romantic gesture”, Cardi B appeared less than impressed, having Offset and his giant 'Take Me Back Cardi' sign removed from stage.

However, when later addressing the incident, the singer asked fans to take it easy on her baby's father - saying "at the end of the day, that's still family."
Some fans weren't having a bar of it - labelling Offset's behaviour as typical of a toxic relationship.

"Please stop bullying Cardi B to take Offset back," one commentator tweeted.

"That relationship is so toxic. Imagine being in her situation and being cheated on and mentally manipulated with and you finally say enough is enough but the whole world wants you to continue to be in that toxic relationship..."

Another fan added: "Offset begging for Cardi B back is the best representation of a boy realising he’s lost the best thing going for him for a quick shag."

Some were critical of the music festival, Rolling Loud, for potentially knowing about the incident and allowing it to proceed in the hopes of garnering viral media attention. Others wondered whether the entire scenario could be an elaborate publicity stunt.
