Eminem is looking for dates on Grindr

The rapper revealed he's been looking for love in unlikely places: Tinder, Grindr and strip clubs.

Eminem is back on the charts with his new album "Revival" that features collaborations with some of the biggest names in music like Pink, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran.

While the album is receiving middling reviews from critics, fans have been waiting a long time for another release since his last album, "The Marshall Mathers LP II" in 2013.

In a recent interview with Vulture, Eminem was quizzed about his life outside making music. The interviewer asked him about his favourite ways to spend his time like seeing movies (he saw the Tupac biopic twice), watching TV and - oh yeah - dating.

Like many of us in this day and age, Eminem turned to some of the most popular dating apps like Tinder and, to some surprise, he also casually mentioned he had been on Grindr.

Do you date?
It’s tough. Since my divorce I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public. Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.

When you were dating, how’d you meet people? Tinder?
I mean, yeah.

Are you being serious?
Yeah, Tinder.

Really?
[Laughs] And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs.

I think a lot of long-term relationships start in strip clubs.
What can I say? Going to strip clubs is how I was meeting some chicks. It was an interesting time for me.

It's probably likely Em is having a bit of a laugh. Unfortunately, the interviewer didn't ask a single follow-up question so we may never know.

What we do know is Eminem apparently has a seriously cheeky sense of humour, with his long-time mate Sir Elton John telling Graham Norton about a surprising wedding gift Eminem gave him and his husband David Furnish.
"When David and I did our civil partnership," John told Norton, "I got this package from Eminem - shows you how homophobic he isn't - we got two diamond encrusted c*ck rings on velvet cushions."

"I have to say," John continued, "they remain unused".

Later in the interview with Vulture, Eminem spoke about being called homophobic in the past.

"The first time I got a taste of being called anti-gay was on 'My Name Is' when I said, 'My English teacher wanted to have sex in junior high / The only problem was my English teacher was a guy.' All I was saying was I don’t swing that way."

"I have no issue with someone’s sexuality, religion, race, none of that. Anyone who’s followed my music knows I’m against bullies — that’s why I hate that f**king bully Trump — and I hate the idea that a kid who’s gay might get sh*t for it."
