The new season of The Great British Bake Off is underway with hosts Noel Fielding, Prue Leith, Sandi Toksvig and Paul Hollywood.
This week’s episode included an exchange between Noel and Sandi that delighted fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Noel notes that the contestants are going "drag racing" to which Sandi, not missing a beat, says "PruPaul's Drag Race!" in reference to their fellow judges and the Emmy-winning US reality contest.
The two iconic TV shows then took the exchange over to Twitter.
Fans of both shows could not have been happier about the combination of the UK and US reality competitions.
Drag Race judge Michelle Visage recently appeared at Drag World UK and assured fans that the reality show would be heading to Britain in the near future so a proper Bake Off crossover episode might not be that far away.
