The Babadook has well and truly cemented its status as a queer icon and has been showing up at Pride parades all over the US this weekend.

The once terrifying, now fabulous Babadook—originally from the 2014 Australian horror film—has blessed Pride parades from Los Angeles to Washington, DC with appearances on placards and some truly inspired costumes.
Here’s some of the best babalooks:

There was a very strong showing of Babadooks at LA Pride with Vulture's Kyle Buchanan keeping count of the babalewks.

US Youtuber Miles Jai dressed as the Babadook for the taping of the Ru Paul's Drag Race season 9 finale.

The Babadook also revealed it's a big fan of civil liberties.

One Babadook celebrated Pride in the produce aisle.
