Pop singers Hayley Kiyoko and Kehlani have sent hearts racing with the music video for the pair's new collaboration single “What I Need”.
23-year-old Kehlani, who first entered the limelight as a member of teen group Poplyfe, took to social media to share her experience shooting the clip.
"Just so u [sic] know.... this my favourite video I’ve ever been apart of," she wrote in a tweet.
She continued: "Hayley is a genius, an incredible actress and one of the most diligent and hard working directors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with."
Rising star Kiyoko, who fans refer to as “Lesbian Jesus”, recently slammed pop star Rita Ora's single "Girls", saying "we can and should do better".
"I don't need to drink wine to kiss girls," Kiyoko continued, referencing the song's lyrics.
"I've loved women my entire life."
Kehlani has also previously addressed her sexuality on social media, coming out as queer earlier this year.
"Cuz i keep geddin asked.. I’m queer," she wrote in a tweet.
She continued: "Not bi, not straight. I’m attracted to women, men, REALLY attracted to queer men, non binary people, intersex people, trans people. lil poly pansexual papi hello good morning. does that answer your questions?"
