That's the main take-away from Mama Ru in the official new trailer for RuPaul's Drag Race season 10 - she's upping the ante.
“While preparing for season 10, I realised that one of our contestants was 11 years old when we first launched Drag Race,” Ru said earlier this week about the new season.
Ru continued: “The fact that we’re still here and still going strong is because of our talented queens. They are the heart and soul of the series. And as they continue to evolve and push the boundaries of drag, so does Drag Race.”
Following recent controversy surrounding RuPaul's comments on the eligibility of transgender drag queens to compete on the show, producers will no doubt be hoping there's enough glitz and glam in the upcoming season to win-over a growing pool of naysayers.
Luckily, there looks to be more than a few familiar faces coming along for the ride.
According to the trailer, this year the judges will be joined by a stellar line-up of guests including Christina Aguilera, Shania Twain, Lena Dunham, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon, and Billy Eichner.
Other guest appearances include: Kate Upton, Halsey, Padma Lakshmi, Courtney Love, Nico Tortorella, Audra McDonald, Ashanti, Logan Browning, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Carrie Preston, Andrew Rannells, Miles Heizer, Todrick Hall, and musician Lizzo.
As well as the finale of All Stars 3 and the beginning of season 10, there's also a Drag Race special on the way that will see 23 fan favourites from past seasons, including Adore Delano, Trixie Mattel and Bob the Drag Queen, returning for an iconic Drag Race family RU-union.
