Movie-goers are thirsty for Paul Rudd's bearded makeover in the trailer for queer romantic comedy Ideal Home.

In the movie, Rudd plays the daddy-vibe boyfriend to TV chef Erasmus, played by Steve Coonan. Things soon take a turn for the complicated when Coogan's previously unknown 10-year-old grandson arrives at their doorstep looking to forge a relationship.
While the jury's still out on whether the film is, you know, actually any good, most people don't seem to care - not when Rudd's impressive new facial hair and burly physique are up for discussion.

"I crush on Paul Rudd so much that, as far as the beard goes, I'd not only let him eat crackers in bed - I'd pick the stray crumbs out... with my teeth," one viewer commented on the trailer.

"I am not gay but Paul Rudd with that beard is making me question some things," wrote another.
The film, which premiered at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Film Festival earlier this year, is expected to be released internationally in June.
