In a disappointing blow for supporters, Elizabeth Warren announced last week that she would be ending her campaign for Democratic presidential nominee.
However, while some awaited to see whether Warren will endorse Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders ahead of this week's primary vote in Michigan, seen by commentators as Sanders' final chance to halt Biden's growing momentum, others were happy to see Warren enjoying herself on the set of Saturday Night Live over the weekend.
Warren made a guest appearance on the famous sketch show, joining beloved comedian Kate McKinnon, who plays Warren in political skits.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the politician came face-to-face with her SNL twin for the show's cold open, before going backstage and a video for TikTok's 'Flip the Switch Challenge'.
The trend, which encourages couples, friends and parent-child pairs to dance to Drake's song 'Nonstop', involves participants trading clothes and positions when the singer and rapper says 'Flip the Switch' - normally with one person holding the phone and filming while the other dances in the background.
Naturally, a switch between Kate McKinnon dressed up as Elizabeth Warren, and the REAL Elizabeth Warren - dancing, no less - is a hard clip to top.
