Actress and activist Angelica Ross has taken a step into the world of high fashion, serving looks in a new campaign the Louis Vuitton pre-fall 2020 collection.
Ross, who has risen to fame after standout performances in both Pose and American Horror Story: 1984, shared the campaign photos on social media, celebrating her natural hair in the shoot.
“I asked Louis Vuitton if I could rock my natural hair in an Afro and they came back with an enthusiastic YES,” Ross wrote on Twitter.
The shoot itself appears to have been inspired by American Horror story, creating elaborate covers for fictional 80s horror books.
Ross's photo sees her front The Escape Room, with its one-line synopsis reading: "When the future knocks, Open the door!”
Pose co-star Indya Moore also shared the campaign.
“Feast your eyes,” they wrote. “Legendary casting of dark skin black trans women by Louis Vuitton x Nicolas G. Angelica Ross slays in high fashion & high afro giving us what we literally have been looking for!! I cannot wait to see this in stores.”
Other names to appear in the campaign include Deepika Padukone, Jaden Smith, Billie Lourd and Cody Fern.
