Actor and activist Indya Moore has made their NYFW modeling debut, walking for celebrated designer Jason Wu last weekend.

Wearing a beautiful burnt orange dress and sandals, the trans non-binary star of Emmy-winning series Pose turned heads on the runway, thanking Wu on social media.

“This is the first NYFW show I’ve ever walked,” Moore wrote alongside a photo of them smiling with the designer.

The 25-year-old continued: “I’m so proud of Jason’s line, the fabric is incredible. its sturdy, soft and the clothing fits like a glove. Well done!”
According to Page Six, Wu’s show played host to 36 guests and streamed online, with those in attendance required to fill out health questionnaires and temperature checks. Wu also distributed complimentary face masks to all guests.

“I think the world needs beauty and optimism,” he said after his show.

“New York Fashion Week is not over. It is strong. We’re here. … We can all be safe, be gathered and still be able to celebrate.”
