Tennis star Serena Williams, who is currently in quarantine in Adelaide before the start of the Australian Open, went on Stephen Colbert's "A Late Show" to talk about what life is like for her in lockdown.

While Williams made mention that being in quarantine with her daughter in tow was "super intense" she also praised the Australian effort. "It's definitely hard with a three-year-old to be in the hotel all day, but it's worth it because you want everyone to be safe at the end of the day," she said.
The fact that Australia was doing so well in our battle with the coronavirus garnered a "wow" from the host and also gained much support from people on social media.
Alexis Ohanian, who is married to Williams, also tweeted in support of Australia's quarantine rules.
Chelsea Clinton also offered support as well as some tips on how to get through quarantine with a toddler. "Everything by @The_Pigeon & @JackieWoodson + @Octonauts, @sesamestreet, Bubble Guppies & Mira, Royal Detective are favorites in our house!" She tweeted.
For Aussies, though, Williams' comments came as vindication that even though our hotel quarantine laws and various State lockdowns have been tough, it has all been worthwhile in the end.
