If you're overwhelmed with the leadership drama transfixing Australia, spare a thought for the other Peter Dutton.

The 30-year-old American man has been inadvertently drawn into Australia's political maelstrom, receiving a deluge of tweets and comments from users of the social media platform who have mistaken him for the former Home Affairs Minister.
It comes as Twitter users joked about denial strategies on dealing with a possible Dutton Prime Ministership, including hiding under a blanket, focusing on skin care and drowning in reality television.
But not all reactions to a Peter Dutton prime ministership have been negative, with some embracing the  alternative Peter Dutton for leader.
It seems like the other Peter Dutton is up for the task and enjoying his new found celebrity.
Perhaps the other Peter Dutton really does have the answers.

In a business he manages named 'P.E.T.E.R' (Pray Everyday to Achieve Results), the other Peter Dutton talks about the power of prayer to deal with difficult situations.

"My only goal with this is to help someone else struggling in life to find answers, searching for clarity, and ultimately that breakthrough that puts them on the path to better days. I remember being that guy. Lost, confused, scared, and living without a purpose. I put daily prayer in the mix and everything changed," he writes on the website.

Amen.
