While those attending Trump's inauguration watched Jackie Evancho (who?), 3 Doors Down ('memba them? They sang "Kryptonite" and "Here Without You" and erm...) and Toby Keith (idontknowher.gif), those attending the queer dance party protest out the front of Vice President-elect Mike Pence's house were twerking for their rights to the sounds of Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Organised by WERK for Peace, hundreds took to the streets to shake their booties for peace, and man-oh-man does it look like more fun than the inauguration.

Let's compare, shall we?

Here's Trump, grimacing and pretending to enjoy "Kryptonite":
And here's Firas Nasr - the organiser of the dance party - dancing to Beyoncé's "Yoncé":
Here's Melania Trump watching 3 Doors Down:
And here's hundreds of people dancing to Rihanna's "Work":
And here they are chanting "we are here / we are queer / we will dance!"
And dancing to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody":
I meaaaaaaan... I know which one I'd rather attend.
what kind of tea is this
