A video promoting Dublin Bus has caused a stir this week - and for all the right reasons.
The commercial, which has already been viewed more than 640,000 times across Facebook and Twitter, depicts a number of proud dads surprising their LGBTIQ+ children and accompanying them to Dublin Pride celebrations.
In the commercial, one father, Stephen, admits that a Pride parade wouldn't normally be something he'd go to.
He continues: "But I think we shouldn't be closed off to ideas like that."
Stephen later told BBC News that his son, Liam, “said it was the best surprise he has ever had.”
On his way to pick up his sons, another father says: "anybody would be delighted to have one gay son."
"But to have two - I'd impress anybody with that story!"
Approaching his son's house dressed in a rainbow suit, he adds: "I hope they have a defibrillator in there because I'm certainly going to need it!"
Viewers were clearly touched by the moving video.
"This made me cry and I'm damn proud to say that," Liam Dwyer tweets.
He continued: "I don't think the #ProudDads can ever really understand the enormity of their support, what it actually means to their children."
