It’s been 20 years since Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion first hit theatres and to celebrate, the iconic film has been recreated by SBS Viceland’s own Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni held a special performance of Trixie and Katya’s High School Reunion in San Francisco’s historic LGBT+ Castro district, hosted by Peaches Christ.
The pair flawlessly recreated the scene from the cult classic where Lisa Kudrow, Mira Sorvino and Alan Cumming perform an interpretive dance to Cyndi Lauper’s "Time After Time".
Needless to say, the performance has been praised by Twitter users as 'perfection'.
The hosts of The Trixie & Katya Show then treated the audience to a special acoustic version of 'Time after Time'.
