Twitter reacts to 'things that aren't South Asian but feel South Asian'

"Changing outfits in the McDonald's bathroom so your parents don't see what you're really wearing when you go out."

The Juggernaut - a digital publication aimed at South Asian readers - has joined a trend doing the social media rounds of what isn't something but feels like it should be by asking: "What ISN’T South Asian but FEELS South Asian?"
The answers were hilarious and relatable to anyone with intimate knowledge of South Asian culture.
This got us in the feels because anyone who knows about the strictness of Desi parents will testify, you need to leave home in proper conservative outfits before ducking into a public bathroom (including the one at McDonald's) where you can transform into your true self.
It may surprise you to learn that the shoe brand "Bata" that's synonymous with South Asian culture is actually Swiss owned.

But the answer that was most relatable not just to South Asians but perhaps Asians everywhere is the famous tin of Danish butter cookies that seemed to contain anything but cookies.
