Nancy Pelosi, the 77-year-old US House Minority Leader, isn't exactly what you'd call a typical RuPaul's Drag Race fan. But, nevertheless - turns out the congresswoman is a Drag Race stan.

She loves the show so much in fact, that it has been confirmed that she's appearing as a guest judge on the upcoming series of All Stars 3.

A spokesperson for Pelosi told the Washington Post that the politician also wanted to send a message of support to LGBTQI+ Americans who are struggling in the current political climate.

"Pelosi, whose district includes San Francisco, has been a longtime supporter of the LGBT community. A Pelosi rep tells us it’s the latter factor that prompted her to sign on to the gig, to show solidarity in the face of what she calls attacks against LGBT people by the Trump administration.

Pelosi has been a fan of the show, we’re told, and its credo of being proud of who you are.

Her appearance has already taped, but we couldn’t pry any spoilers out of her about what to expect when the series begins Jan. 25. Just this one from her spokesman: “She had a ‘fabulous’ time.”"

After the news broke of her Drag Race appearance, the congresswoman tweeted her gratitude to RuPaul, and her wellwishes to all the queens participating in the season.

The responses from Drag Race fans has been extremely positive:

The announcement of all the guest judges came out overnight, and revealed other guest judges include Adam Lambert, Kristin Chenoweth, Garcelle Beauvais, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Emma Bunton, Tituss Burgess, Nicole Byer, Chris Colfer, Todrick Hall, Vanessa Hudgens, Marc Jacobs, Shay Mitchell, Vanessa Williams, and Constance Zimmer.

RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars 3 begins in Australia on January 26, and is fast-tracked via streaming service Stan.
