Alien 3 is directed by first-timer David Fincher, and though he brings off quite a few successful shock moments, he makes a bit of a mess of the protracted climax, because we're never really sure what's really happening.
The creature is still wonderfully scary and Sigourney Weaver even without her hair is splendid.
Margaret: It's not as scary as the other two I don't think. But she's terrific.
