An "all white people are racist" seminar gets the 'Desus & Mero' treatment

It's pretty uncomfortable, but also very funny.

Are all white people racist?

It’s a question we’ve all asked ourselves at one time or another. But what is the answer?

Well, according to the activist Ashleigh Shackleford, it's: Absolutely.

As Desus and Mero discover, the activist does not hold back as she unleashes some harsh insights on a group of unsuspecting seminar attendees.

Now, you might be wondering, are all white people doomed to be racist forever?

“You’re always going to be racist,” promises Shackleford.

Okay. But what if you’re on your path to figure out how to be a better human being?

Sorry, guys. You’ll still be racist “even when you’re on your path to figure out how to be a better human being”.

And in case you were also wondering if she’s interested in “the coddling of white tears”, it’s looking like she’s not.

Anyway...

Also in this episode, Desus and Mero discuss a Colombian Univision reporter’s interview/cultural car crash with the leader of the North Carolina chapter of the Ku Klux Klan on his home turf.

Just to give you a taste, the KKK guy laments that the reporter isn’t lighter skinned, calls her a mongrel and promises that he’s “way more superior than you’ll ever be”.

Desus & Mero is really unique show on SBS VICELAND at 2am on Tuesdays and a good time all round. If you haven’t been watching, this episode is a good place to start:
