We asked, and the songwriters of Australia delivered.

We have been blown away by the response to our call for song submissions to decide Australia's Eurovision Song Contest entry for 2019. Over 700 songs were submitted to the Eurovision - Australia Decides song portal during the three-week entry period, and we're thrilled that the range of songs we received showcases the diversity and high-quality songwriting talent across Australia.

Enormous thanks to everyone who submitted a song. Our panel of judges has now completed the immense task of reviewing each entry, and the shortlisted songs are in the process of being matched with artists. We're not ready to name names just yet, but we will be start making announcements very soon about the high-calibre performers who will take the stage at our live selection shows, Eurovision - Australia Decides, to be held on the Gold Coast in February.

The winner of Eurovision – Australia Decides will go on to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Israel.

Tickets for the three live events are now on sale.
