After Bella Paige's stellar performance in Sofia, Bulgaria last year - Australia's debut entrant in Junior Eurovision, this year will see another young Australian take the reins as our representative up against talented singers, aged 9-14, from across Europe.
As per Eurovision tradition, 2016's competition will be hosted by the country of the previous year's winner. That means this year it will be held in Valletta, the stunning capital of Malta, after their representative, the incredible Destiny Chukunyere, blew all the competition out of the water with her powerhouse vocals.

The first Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) took place in Copenhagen (Denmark) on 15 November 2003 and was an instant international hit.
Member of the European Broadcasting Union, the Maltese Member Public Broadcasting Services Ltd (PBS) will host this year's event for the second time in two years, having also hosted in 2014 after adorable 11-year-old Gaia Cauchi claimed victory in 2013.
Mixing things up, PBS also recently announed that this year's contest will in fact be held in multiple locations in across the capital of Valletta.
2016's Junior Eurovision will see some format changes too, with the time slot being brought forward to the afternoon to be more suitable for family viewing times.
"We have been discussing how to improve and further the JESC format," Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor for Junior Eurovision 2016 said at the time this year's contest was announced.
"Many members, including some not taking part, felt that the timeslot was not suited to children and family viewing, so we have tried to bring the competition to a time more fitting for this type of event."
